Robert "Bob" Nesta Marley was born in Jamaica on February 6, 1945 and died on May 11, 1981.
He was a Jamaican singer, His bands were : The Wailers (1964 – 1974) and Bob Marley & the Wailers (1974 - 1981).
His music was reggae and he was famous for making very revolutionary music.
He was buried in his home town and millions of people went to the funeral there.
